McAfee Popup Notifications: Your Device is not fully protected!

If you are using a McAfee product and receive a McAfee notification "Your device is not fully protected" after a full scan that yield results stating, no errors or viruses, malware or spyware, the problem maybe related to the time the product was down loaded onto your computer. When the clock is not set to the correct date and time when downloading, but while the product is installed the time is then set correctly, that may cause the installed program to fast forward to it's expiration date.  For example, if the computer that is receiving the program time is set for April 28, 2016 but the accurate date is April 28, 2017, for McAfee subscriptions that last 1 year, that subscription may expire when the computer's clock is set with the accurate time causing a McAfee notification "Your device is not fully protected"

A solution you can try, especially if you have noticed the computer's date and time lagging behind, is to uninstall the program from Control Panels, Programs and Features menu. Once the program has been removed, set the computer's date and time feature to the correct date and time, then reinstall the McAfee product that was giving the "Your device is not fully protected" notifications.
